We are dedicated to championing initiatives that will truly make a difference to our wider Australian and Indigenous community. This is why we deliver employment, career development, and vocational training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in culturally-sensitive and supportive work environments.
Our internal Reconciliation Working Group meets monthly to create positive change within our branches and the wider community to bring us one step closer to reconciliation and break down cultural stereotypes and discrimination.
Our group talks about these issues and together comes up with innovative ideas and actions that make a difference and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander history, culture and rights to be a proud part of our everyday. By doing so, we are able to build better relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider Australian community.
We also have indigenous staff who are experts at guiding and mentoring our indigenous clients with the aim to help them find work.
