When Sam first came to PeoplePlus, he was homeless and struggling with addiction issues. Obviously, he was having trouble finding work.

After meeting his Case Manager Patrick, Sam began to feel more comfortable and engaged with the job seeking process. He was introduced to the PeoplePlus Allied Health team who began to help him with his self-esteem and sense of self-worth. His focus on improving his personal issues were complemented by the development of his job seeking skills, which included resume writing and interview refinement.

Sam was feeling confident with himself as a prospective employee and met with PeoplePlus Recruitment Consultant Tanya, who secured him a position at Australian retailer Fantastic Furniture.

Now working as Storeman, Sam has plans for the future that include renting his own apartment.

"I now look forward to a bright future. I cannot thank PeoplePlus enough for their help," Sam said.

"If I had any friends that were unemployed and looking for work, I would refer them to PeoplePlus."
